Seema Lokhandwala

I am an engineer turned conservation scientist who integrates latest technologies with data and concepts from elephant communication, behaviour and ecology to understand the ecological and evolutionary processes that promote wildlife conservation. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, and the research head and principal investigator of the Elephant Acoustics Project, studying Asian elephant communication and behaviour in the Kaziranga-Karbi Anglong landscape, Assam.
