Over the last ten years my work has been focussed around issues of coastal governance and fisher rights. I work with fishing communities and civil society networks to increase their engagement with law and policy, from influencing new legislation or amendments to improving implementation of existing legislations. I am currently the Director of Dakshin Foundation, where I lead efforts towards building inclusive governance models that ensure sustainable use of natural resources as well as enable fisher communities to access development rights.
